1. Who we are

QuantiDawn ("QuantiDawn", "we", "us") runs quantidawn.com and provides construction cost estimating and quantity takeoff services to contractors in Australia, the United States and Singapore. We are based in Metro Manila, Philippines.

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or ask us for a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the quote form or contact us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number (if you give one), country or market, project type, whether you are interested in a single project or a monthly retainer, when you need the estimate (if you tell us), and your project description. We also collect any files you upload, such as plans, drawings, specifications and scope notes, and we keep our correspondence with you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you request and the time of your visit. We use this to deliver and secure the site. Our pages also load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google's servers.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not include it in your messages or project files.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your quote request and communicate with you about your project;
  • prepare, deliver and support the estimates and other services you request;
  • keep our business records, issue invoices and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations;
  • keep our website secure and prevent misuse.

We process your information because you asked us to (to respond to your request and provide our services), to pursue our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, to comply with the law and, where the law requires it, with your consent.

4. Your plans and project files

We use your plans and project files only to prepare your estimate and deal with your request. Our estimators take off quantities and price the work. We use our own AI-assisted tools to speed up takeoffs and pricing, and every result is checked by a person before it is sent to you.

We keep your plans confidential. If you need a formal non-disclosure agreement, ask us and we will provide one.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share information only with:

  • service providers that help us run the website and our services, such as website hosting, email, form handling and cloud storage, who may use it only to provide those services to us and must keep it confidential;
  • authorities or other parties where the law or a legal process requires it, or where we need to protect our rights, our clients or others;
  • a buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged, who must continue to protect your information under this policy.

6. Where your information is processed

We are based in the Philippines, and you may be in Australia, the United States, Singapore or elsewhere. Our service providers may store or process information in other countries. Where the law requires it, we take steps, such as contractual protections, to make sure your information stays protected when it moves across borders.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example to answer your request, deliver and support your estimate, keep business records, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to those legal obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable organisational, physical and technical measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to give you access to your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, give it to you in a portable format, or withdraw a consent you gave us. You can also complain to a regulator.

  • Philippines: under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have rights of access, correction, erasure or blocking, objection, data portability and to claim damages. You may complain to the National Privacy Commission.
  • Australia: under the Privacy Act 1988, you can ask to access and correct your personal information. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
  • Singapore: under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you can ask to access and correct your personal data and withdraw your consent. You may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission.
  • United States: depending on your state (for example California), you may have the right to know what we collect, and to have it corrected or deleted. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

10. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our site may link to or load resources from other websites and services, such as Google Fonts. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will make it clear on this site.
